Silver Art Bars are usually bullion coins and they are usually made by private mints or mining companies. For example, the Franklin Mint has certainly made quite a few art bars over the year, but you may also want to look out for bars made by the Sunshine Mint or another popular mining concern, Johnson Matthey.
For fans of the Canadian silver maple leaf, there are new silver maple leaf art bars you can collect and they are easily found on Ebay. These are not, of course, made by the Canadian Royal Mint. Some are minted by the CMC Mint. They feature a strikingly well done Maple leaf and some really gleaming silver. Look for various sizes, including the troy ounce, and bars in 1 gram or 10 gram.
Be aware that most of the 1 oz silver maple leaf art bars on Ebay are NOT solid silver. They are actually copper bars with a silver overlay. So buyer beware. They are pretty, but I don't feel that they are worth all that much.
